Living history is a method of character reenactment used to teach history in a more personal and meaningful way. Historic Arkansas's award-winning living history program is grant funded and is the only program of its kind in Arkansas. The museum provides hourly tours of its historic grounds, which include a living history performance at no additional charge between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
