The fifth in the Eclectic Collector series, this exhibit features the Pez® dispenser collections of two Arkansans, David Simpson and Brian Cormack. Originally sold in small tins, the first dispensers, known to collectors as “regulars,” appeared around 1950. Around 1952, cartoon heads and fruit-flavored candy were introduced. Since then, over 250 different heads have been made. Simpson and Cormack both began collecting Pez dispensers while attending the University of the Ozarks.
