Eclectic Color Diverse Colors for a Diverse World is inspired by the many different thoughts, emotions and people that Rex Deloney has portrayed over the years as a figurative artist. The compositions are mainly created as abstract backgrounds with vivid color schemes full of lines, shapes and textures upon which he melds a diverse collection of portraits and figurative images. The emotionally driven portraits juxtaposed on the colorful abstract backgrounds work together to convey messages of hope, faith and the everyday joys and struggles of life.

Deloney is a native of North Little Rock, and an art instructor and chairman of the fine arts department at Central High School in Little Rock.
