Professional Development
Teacher field trips to Historic Arkansas are a popular activity and fulfill the Arkansas Department of Education's annual 2-hour Arkansas studies requirement. You will visit historic homes, see a living history performance, visit the Hands-on History room, see loan boxes, explore the galleries and receive free materials. Annual November Workshop
As part of the annual AEA Professional Develpment Conference, Historic Arkansas Museum offers an on-site Arkansas history workshop, always related to a current exhibit or historic museum house. Workshop description and registration are provided by AEA publications.
