Annual Christmas Frolic & Open House
First Sunday in December, 1 – 4 pm
This event celebrates Christmas as it was in the 1800s with living history, carols, reenactments, live music, dancing and more. Visitors come from across the state every year for our famous hot cider and ginger cake, as well as Arkansas-made holiday shopping in the Museum Store.
Second Friday in December, 5:30 – 8 pm
This popular celebration of a favorite holiday drink is a friendly competition for the best eggnog in Little Rock. Guests are invited to sample a variety of nogs ranging from historic recipes to contemporary innovations, then vote for their favorite. It's also a great time to finish up (or start!) your holiday shopping in the Museum Store, with the best of Arkansas-made. See nog-off winners of past years and their recipes here.
