Living History

Living history is a way to meet people from the past and to witness the demonstration of frontier lifeways, all based upon rigorous research. Living history museums offer a unique educational opportunity to experience life in an earlier time period. Historic Arkansas's award-winning living history program is grant and donor funded and is the only program of its kind in Arkansas. You can help support our living history program by making a donation.

Admission to the Historic Grounds is $2.50 for adults, $1 for children under 18, $1.50 for adults age 65+.

Guided tours of the Historic Grounds are available on the hour on Monday and Tuesday. Guided tours feature living history performances between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Self-guided tours are available Wednesday through Sunday during open grounds. Visitors will experience living history performances and period demonstrations between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
