Statement of Values
We aim to achieve excellence and maintain professional standards in all of the museum's activities.
The achievement of excellence follows a shared vision, which includes the discipline of planning and openness to fresh ideas.
Together we make it happen, and all of us deserve mutual support and active cooperation.
All facets of society will be included and involved in the museum.
The history we present is solidly based in historical scholarship.
The history we present is rich in breadth and detail and engaging to the mind, the emotions and the senses.
We know that to have the stories and objects to present we have to preserve them first.
The maintenance of a professional and vital organization requires the commitment to assist in the professional growth of all staff members.
We strive to reinforce the confidence of the public and our co-workers through personal integrity and ethical performance.
We know we are responsible for carrying out our mission with the resources given us, and we are committed to demonstrating the degree of our success.
